Travellers

Jeannie Robertson was a renowned folk singer from Aberdeen. This illustration is drawn from a photograph from 1960. I'm hoping to use my drawings of scottish travellers within my silversmithing and jewellery, it will hopefully work?!

This is beautiful...looking forward to seeing how it develops in your work :)

Are you thinking photo-etching or enamelling?....

Thank you :)

I was thinking of etching but I was also trying to use a product called lazertran which is quite difficuly to source. It would be great though as it's just like a transfer, it makes painted roses look tres lovely.

I know this is super-late, but you can get Lazertran in Millers in Glasgow - they have an online shop where you should be able to order it any time :)

Yes..it works a treat for things like this - takes a bit of work to get the hang of it...but the results can be great. You can actually use the lazertran as a resist and then etch it in acid that way as well [you might mean that anyway ;)]....

Best of luck Fe!
